North, East or North-East facing entrances are considered most auspicious, inviting positive energy and natural morning light into the home.
Best placed in the South-East corner — the zone of Agni (fire). The cook should ideally face East while cooking.
South-West is recommended for the head of the household's bedroom — this zone represents stability and grounding.
